Leony is a German singer and songwriter who has recently gained popularity all over the world. The song “Remedy” is one of her most famous and beloved compositions.
History of the creation and meaning of the song Remedy by Leony
“Remedy” is Leony’s first song released in English, before that she sang mainly in German. Leony presented the single “Remedy” to listeners. When creating the track, the singer focused on the newly popular sound of 80s music, which became a kind of creative challenge for her. Leony talked about the process of creating the track:
“When working on ‘Remedy’, my team and I started with guitar chords, then came up with a melody line and lyrics. After that, my producers took over the sound production and suggested trying out some 80s-inspired sound solutions, which ultimately fit the composition perfectly. I really liked this aesthetic, so we decided to develop it in that direction.”
If we talk about the meaning of the song, it is of course about love or strong friendship. The meaning of “Remedy” comes down to the fact that sometimes one single person can become a salvation, a real balm for the soul, pulling you out of the depths of despair. Leony herself explains:
“Although the lyrics are more about romantic relationships, the original idea was to talk about how it often takes one special person to take you away, and in my case it was a very close friendship.”
The divine meaning of the song is that the lyrics are about God.
